Neumatics and other quirky craft *PIC*

Coming up in the new TSJ. I can’t wait! Congratulations Dale!

…And John Mellor…And Jeff Chamberlain… http://www.larryobrien.com/flydisk2.htm

i dont get it.

Nobody else actually “gets it” either. Those guys are probably just aged over the edge eccentrics. Surfers journal is savy enough to knows they can sell more pricey mags by focusing on old weirdnesses.

We understand that you don’t “get it”… Roger

you never have gotten it .That’s why you are the closed minded clones that have very little fun and think surfing is a competetive sport.

Other means of riding waves suck in competition DUDE!!!My 6ft thruster would kick ass all over those weird trips you Dudes are on!!

I’ve always felt that competition sucks. Perhaps some of us just have different points of view. http://vagabondsurf.com/AlternativeVehicles.html

DO THE MATH: surfing on your belly + “being different” + reading TSJ = fucking old kooks. DONT BUY IT- DONT TRY IT- IF: 1. endorsed by jeff chamberlain 2. not made for standing 2.looks like a used trash bag 3.it has less fins or none 4. it isn`t hand shaped

Yeah, Greenough sure is a kook!

…even lamer!

Only kooks get views like this!

just another kook http://erin_k_smith.tripod.com//sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/catching_a_wave_at_the_pipe.jpg

Dubster Ive got two words for you: PHOTO SHOP!!!! You really ought to get educated. Read what Peter Drouyn has to say about Greenough. Ancient mod'fied pics means nothing. Only a fool believes Georgie boy rode the "Innermost Linmuts Of Pure Fun" on a fucking knee board and air mattress! Especially compared to toadys state of the art surf moves. Think about it!

ha, ha, yeah, it was all a conspiracy! Greenough actually got all those shots riding a futuristic early thruster 1.5 inches thick holding the camera in front of him! And all the footage in Crystal Voyager is actually Greenough crouching really, really low on a short surfboard with many fins! The dark and murky print obscures this fact and has allowed the myth of velo to filter down through the years. Oh yeah, I forgot, nobody rode longboards from 68-92 either!

Ive also heard talk about the short board revolution conspiracy. i think what peter drouyn says makes sense. nat young and paul witzig have tried to write him out of australian surf history. greenough could have helped pulled off a photo op stunt like that. hes pretty clever with film. never seen him surf for real, either!

how’s that heroin problem workin out for you druncan still selling to kids?

and the fool on the hill sees the sun going down and the world spinning round " the state of toady’s surf movies" uckin’ Toady’s surf movies shurely have Eclipsed all them elderly attempts at capturing the true essence of of the aquaeous experiential quest for enlightened fulfillment. THE SEVEN HUNDRED INCREDIBLE SNAP BACKS per hour make Ian and Brad and Mike abd Bief and Little Labbit ease back into that soul satisfied state that validates their lives were not misspent that their key role in the forging forward of progressive surfing has truely made it all worth it. I for one look forward to watching another stellar performance session broadcast on wordwide tellyvision of the world capital Huntington CHAMPION OF THE UNIVERSE CONTEST to see tha hopping grind inng ing ingy bamb shove drag f l y slap slam slide joosh gwang zooping and then that cooler than anything ever jump off at the end …tyvo that sucker and play it back over an over till we can copy it right the next time the surf gets that big again…bless them for they Know knot what they are doing…way up the beach there is an invisible cat perhaps from Cheshshire revealing only a smile dont be upset he’s not just laughing at you he’s laughing with you but only when you are having fun …ambrose…zoop…

The “quirk factor” helps sell another issue of Surfer`s Journal? More media inspired “slopcraft”. Too bad for Parmenter, Solomonon, Chambelian, Mellor. Better luck next time.
