New board help

Can anyone suggest some good dimensions for my next project,

Where i live our waves are slow and lacking in power, Typical speed around 9 to 10 mph with max period of about 9 sec, With this in mind i want to try for the perfect board for these conditions and any suggestions would be great.

I was thinking 6`3 21" centre with a wide nose and tail, and with a relaxed rocker maybe 4.5" nose 2" tail.

Im 5` 8" and weigh around 78 kilos

As always any help greatly appreciated…

Ill do a thread of the build…

It will be a Balsa Compsand…

Something like that?:

No, thinking short and fat along the lines of CI biscuit…

if you know you want st biscuit, why not just plain copy that board?

Less surface means less easier planing

more rocker is slower, so 4.5 nose 2 tail is good start, high point at center

make a flat bottom with hard edges, just like bert

cheers

cheers, yeah only the biscuit looks a little thick think ill slim it down a bit…

Something a little more fishy than egg (6’3" straight line measurement):

Aloha,

Steve

Cheers, i like it just what i was thinking. Already on to gloss coat though and went for a rounded pin tail, hope this will work if not ill try the little fishy…

Ill post a pic of finished board see what you think…

Cheers yessirr
