I still do all my own paints…just can’t glass anymore due to my hands…during the foam-ez BBQ Steve’s paint guy(rick ? geeeez i forgot,i’m having a senior moment)had a garage sale out front…got some great stuff…he also has a box full of viper fins for 15 bucks a set…if there’s any left it’ll be over at the used board shop around the corner.
yours are much more work and craftsmanship…mine are strips of fiberglass 4sale signs cut in after glassing.the reasoning behind this is simply, to keep the swallow from flexing out,keeping the tip buried on hard turns/re-entries…and it works.
