6’3" headed to Texas…
Sweet fish, westuhorn. Mike
What glassing pattern did you ask for?
6’3" will be a meaty brom.
Sweet board.
I’m planning a 6’2" ish traditional style Lis/Frye fish.
What are the dimensions on your Brom?
(nose, tail, center, wide point, wide point location, swallow points, swallow depth…)
thanks
I dont know all the dimensions yet as I left that up to Steve to decide and because the board is still in Cali shipping out early next week I will have to check dimensions when it gets here. Brom is kind of funny because when I asked him dimensions he really didnt want to tell me other than length. Which is OK because I have to say Steve could not be better to deal with and very easy talk to. He shapes what he thinks will work for you given your info both physically and experience and home break wise. The only dimension he writes on the board is length which is 6’3". I can tell you he cuts his boards out of a longboard type blank that he wont divulge and that is for the thickness he likes all around that other blanks cant obtain that are commonly used for fish shapes. i can give more info regarding dimensions after I receive it and would be happy to pass it on.
understood, when you get the board some dims would be great.
b.t.w. what is your height and weight?
thanks
I am 6’4" 210 so it is designed to float someone my size per brom
AAAHHH Nice…Beautiful board Westuhorn, Bet you are stoked.
I have a Brom Fish and love it. And I can thank Swaylocks, I never would have heard of Steve Brom otherwise.
You are right he is a great guy, and a pleasure to deal with. Ya gotta love the way he will email pictures of the finished board before he packs it and ships it!!
Enjoy and good waves
