In the web from Trinity Board Sporst I´ve read the following: "…start enjoying this new evolution in the world of surfing. It seems a few presumptous. however i´ve also read in the same page the following: " The parabolic board provides more buoyancy, stability, maneuverability, and speed producing a more radical surfing experience.
Any one could explain me how these boards provide me more speed and maneuverability??? .
These boards seem as a snow board. In the same way as in Snow, boards have evolved into this design… Could be applied this cincept in the surf ??
So these boards seems as more developed, with a clearest or finished shape, than posted… I don´t know how express it.
So I don´t understand the concept of these boards. I suposse that with a widest nose, it will be more difficult to make turns, however they say that this "parabolic" shape allow "more radical turns".
Parabolic railed boards have been around for decades.........

I'd add that Eli Mirandon is doing some absolutely freaky cutaway outlines, and has footage demonstrating that it can work. IMO one of the most unique shapers currently working.
