Ladies and Gentlemen,
Swaylock’s is now running on a bigger, badder server. The switch just happened so if you experience any weird behavior with the site (other than the blazing fast speed improvement), please post here.
Thanks,
Michael

Maybe it’s just me but I am seeing posts that have something looking like a chinese character where a single quote mark or apostrophe ought to be…here’s one I cut and pasted:
Im looking at making a 7 quad.
Classic j- I see that frequently using mozillafirefox… way better than microexplorer, but doesn’t recognize the apostrophe or quote in certain cases. On the other hand, firefox auto spell checks this as I write!!!
mike, thanks for continuing to provide such a great service to the international surfing community. i owe a lot to swaylocks. cheers, nathan.
Yo Michael,
You a sterling!
I know I speak for many others when I say how fortunate I am to have you managing this surf design website with more scope as each day passes.

The issue keithmelville mentioned is likely due to no character encoding being set for the pages.
You can add this code to the header to correct that, if you care:
[meta http-equiv=“Content-Type” content=“text/html; charset=utf-8” /]
Definite speed improvement, thanks.
Put in the character encoding meta tag. Can any one confirm that posts with weird encoding are resolving ok now?
Thanks Lawless,
Mike
looks better to me…
