Couple of my newest…as always swaylocks is an inspiration. The blue fish is a bonzer 5 fin single to double concave, stinger 6’2" x 16" x 20.5" x 16.5" x 2.5" fast and loose but no groveler, needs decent waves to get going but turns on in chest plus surf. Smooth with good hold, love the fin set up…a keeper.
The orange one is a trad fish hybrid with the front half being all shortboard. A twinzer fin set up with a single to double with slight vee off the tail, I made the fins, lead fins are balsa and the main fins are basswood. Bottom is a resin splash, deck is balsa composite, 2oz under 6oz over, vacuumed on, deck is solid as a rock…still messing with the vacuuming and this was an easy way to get a board that would last and not dent. Resin pins. The dimensions are- 6’2" x 11-3/8" x 20" x 16" x 2-1/4" with slightly boxy rails 'cause I like them. Only ridden a few times so still playing with it, so far …fast and loose. A little on the small side for me…20# 's lighter in my mind…good reason to lose some butter…have fun…
