Hey, I have been lurking for a while and thought I would finally post. I have been thinking of a new board. a parabolic stringer with a diamond tail. Only the the diamond tail has the chunk taken out. So sort of a swallow but with a little different rail to tail line. May be stupid but wanted opinions on how or even if you all think it would work?
Even though I am a rookie shaper, my best advice, try it and see. What sort of bottom shape were you thinking thru the tail section? Could do some interesting stuff with that shape, me thinks.
That tail shape actually looks a lot like the ones the Hobgoods were trying out last year. It was pretty thin and had some flex to it. I think the idea was that the tail bits could flex seperately allowing them to work kinda like an extra set of fins without having to actually have fins.
Hadn’t gotten that far. I really like how my bat tail quad gos and that is a single up front kind of flattens out in the middle with a little v out the back between the fins?
I think those tails looked more like this didn’t’ they?
Guess you’re right about the Goods. Bad memory.
