It’s definitely a matter of perspective. A long long time ago my brother, a friend, and I pledged to surf every day of our summer break no matter what the waves were like. We did and it was fun. Some days were a paddle out and catch whatever you can and other days were epic for a 10 year old, but it was all fun nontheless.
Any day in the water is better than the best day at work.

surfed kawana , point cartright ,bundina , coloundra , alexandra headland beachies , bribie island , the spit , d bah , and snapper and wouldnt put any of those sessions on my list of 10 worst surfs , wasnt epic queensland , but still fun …
that howling nor easter whipped up a freaky north swell , that pushed into some odd places and made interesting waves …
