I am trying to help out Paul and David with their paddleboard/13’6" trade, I picked up the 24’ paddleboard with the intentions of dragging it with me on my annual invasion of Swami’s and getting it to David in Carlsbad but due to poor surf and the economy, I will not be getting down that far this year.

Are there any swaysers between Coos Bay and Santa Cruz willing to take on the mission?

I will be going to Santa Cruz within the next few weeks (next south swell)

Pm me or Paul Jensen, David/Artisan Surf…

The 24’ racks easy, its light!

Ideally, someone coming up from Carlsbad or thereabouts and getting a meet in SC would be great!

I’ll do Santa Barbara / Santa Cruz / Santa Barbara for fuel cost. I’ could get it to LA or so.

I’m willing to pick it up in SC and keep it safe. I live in Monterey County. I may be visiting San Diego this summer, but have no firm plans. I’m also willing to meet epac in Big Sur or somewhere further south for a transfer. I have a Tundra with a shell and can tie it to the top. Mike

Cool, shoot me your number and lets see what we can do. I will be down in SC the very next southerly swell, right now it looks to be mid June or a bit sooner. I am usually there 4 days or so, mostly Eastside.

Now if we can get the 13’6" to come up at the same time or sooner…come on swaysers! I can get it to Portland for Paul to pick up.

Come on David, where are you? You should be begging and pleading with those swaysers in SD to get that 13’6" northward…ideally, a swap would be better for every one in SC, not many from there come up my way let alone Pauls place in Washington.

hi Mike,

i have had a little trouble figuring out the new PM system.

this is what i have figured out.

if you log in to Swaylocks then look at somebody’s screename on a thread,

under “points” you will see a little icon of an envelope with an arrow on it.

if you click that, you can then send that person a PM. you must be signed in

first though otherwise, you won’t see the little icon…

hope that helps…

You will see your log on name / my account / inbox / logout / help.

Click on inbox…Bingo… from that page select compose…

Well, considering this is the first time I’ve been on swaylocks this week, and considering I never got a response from the last time we tried this, I was suprised to get Paul’s e-mail to check this post made by you… which I just did, and now I am replying…so… (Tony, just bustin’ yer balls…)

Anyone want to pick the 13’5" Surfboard up from My shaping bay at Legends Surf 2658 State Street, Carlsbad, CA 92008 or from my house in Carlsbad (two block over from the shop on Ocean Street, Carlsbad, CA 92008)?

I am going out of town from June 5th through June 23rd or 24th, but the board can still be picked up from Jeff Warner at Legends.

Also, if Paul’s comes down here while I’m gone, Jeff Warner is staying at our house, so you can drop it off with him at my house or with him at the shop. PM me for my home address and Jeff’s contact info.

P.S. - Paul, thanks again, and nice to see you safely back. Tony, Thanks for picking it up and keeping it safe this whole time, and I understand… we got mixed up there for awhile… now we’re back on track…
