I'm having a 10'6" noserider shaped for me. It will have a 16 5/8" sguare tail. QUESTION: What would be the standard width at the end of the square tail? I was thinking somewhere between 7" to 8". Or, should it be slightly wider than 8"? Thanks
Wide tail blocks are part of the design for a Nose Rider.
8" - 10"
It should flow in a natural curve. Not knowing your curves it’s hard to say for sure. Eight sounds about right. Make it flow
7-7.5" IMO. Part of getting really good noserides is being able to set up quick or quick re-position, kind of hard to do without some tail curve. Look at the historically good noseriders and the tail curve in them i.e. DN noserider, Rick NR, etc etc…
