well ever since i mentioned to my pops i was thinkin about getting into vacuum bagging surfboards a month ago. he hooked me up with the first pump.witch is an oil pump. then on christmas he got me two moreof these oiless grey ones . i havent used them yet. ( hes got a buddy that vacuums touch computer screens so they had a bunch they didnt use anymore) we put a guage on the small grey one and it only pulled 4 hg.the oil one will pull more i think?

My Father-in-law gave me a pump a while ago, my first update from the refrigerator innards which had me up all night praying nothing popped. Father-in-laws are sometimes really great… he is an engineer and the workshop had two beautiful little pumps unused for Fifteen years.
Anyway…my wife bought me an Ipod for Xmas, just the ticket. I had secretly coveted them for a long time…

My company was forced to kick me out of the office to take the mandatory two weeks away from work before the end of the year. It’s something folks call vactaion or something like that…
Going through two major systems conversions and coming on a third I’m beginning to really hate computers, the people that use them or don’t know how to use they and anything to do with the internet…

Got a Ridgid 16 gal. shop vac and Greg Loehr’s Epoxy 101 Shaping and Glassing DVDs. Now I’m running out of excuses for making crappy boards. Next year maybe Santa will bring me some skill or work space? I got called off from work on Christmas so I got to spend it with the family. When I told the kids I was going to be home, their reaction was the best gift of all.
