My supplier has stopped selling roving or fin rope. Usually I would use 5-7 strands per rope per side.
I now plan to pull the long strands from a patch of cloth (6oz) how many should I use to get the same thick ness fin rope?
Id say like 15 …20 per rope or until it looks good or similar to what your 5…7 strands of roving looked like
