I think Jim Phillips uses lam resin with a bit of color. Seems like he lets the resin lay around in an open container so the styrene evaporates and it gets really thick. He and I used to glue up a lot of blanks but I forget the details.We used white pigment…looked real clean. It only takes a little bit of pigment.
