“By “rolled up” bottom in the nose, do you mean some kind of rounded bevel to help stop pearling??.”
Yes. I shape em like the nose of old style longboards just alittle more concentrated in the nose. I will take some pics when I get a chance.

I made it...............
what brought you to this particular fin set up?
Ace,
hey i figured, but since you had to pick it up, i doubted that.
i read your post on bonzers too, well informative!
love to see older people surf, i am always pre-occupied with the question of how many more years i have, surfing is the only thing i really love doing, kind of tricks me.
ciao!
Nice Ace … way to think outside the box.

JEEZ, I AM NOT READY TO BE PUT IN "THE BOX" YET.
In regards to how I got to this idea? That is a long and windy road. Several years ago one of the “kids” at the shop I was at wanted me to make him a board and said the magic words “you got any ideas?”. I had the idea for awhile just needed a push to put it into action. I already got enough “grief” in the parking lot for making weird boards over the years. I knew this would really set off the “experts”. I felt that it would work really good or feel “finny” and suck. No middle ground. Unfortunately it WORKED.

I might be GETTING old....."Mouse" IS old, 76, I think, and still out everyday. Stay healthy avoid the traps and stay "stoked" you will be surprised at how long you can ride.
That board looks so much fun.
I’m real curious about the fin placement on that beuty, any chance you could share the numbers?
Also, those little fins closest to the rail look like they are in strange little fin boxes, what is that all about?
Thanks, Tyson
Numbers I would have to get back to you on, since I rely 100% on my “Findicator”. Something I started developing years ago so I do not have to measure everything over and over again.
The little boxes are made by Future fins.
Curious if you had a chance to get the fin dim setup.
Thanks
Here are some pics of it in a reefbreak in Baja. You know where Gillie. George “Pop” stole it from me. He is about 5’ 6" tall and 160lbs. Really put on a show with it. One picture of me also.
Great stuff ACE, nice pics mate, keep it up
Nice pictures Ace. The last (6) fin board I saw was owned by a friend of mine named Gene. That was in Imperial Beach. I’m not sure if you built that one too, but he could really rip on that board. He told me it was the best board he’d ever owned.
