old bonzer rocker measurement

What was the rocker measurements of the mid-70's Bing/Eaton/Ace Bonzers that were about 7 ft. long. Also, what was the difference between the 360 and the Noserider models and was there different rocker measurements between the two models. Thanks

Dang the cobwebs that I have to go through to remember all this stuff. 4.5" - 5" nose rocker. 2- 2.5" tail rocker. would be my best guesstimate recollection. I have a rocker template buried somewhere. The “snrb” or “small noserider bonzer” had the same type chine concave nose as the larger “SDKT” or “stepped deck kicked tail” bonzer. The 360 had flatter nose no chine or concave. All the shorter boards kinda followed the 3 stage rocker “philosophy”. And all had pretty much the same type of rails.

If you search Swaylocks you will find about everything else I want to go into about these boards.

Ace, thanks a lot for the elaborate answer, great information, a lot more than I had anticipated, but sounds too complicated for my shaping skill level, so maybe I'll have you shape me one and I'll glass it if that's ok. I know the right bonzer can improve your skill level substantially.

“I know the right bonzer can improve your skill level substantially.”

Hmm I don’t know about that. The RIGHT board for you in the conditions you surf and a honest assessment of your skill level as your surfing experience evolves can do that. The Bonzers we made were pretty different than what I see people making/coping today. Ours were much more slippie slidie with smaller center fins than guys are making now.Guys that rode em good knew how to fit em into the “speed spots” other people “rode” em but never really figured em out.

It has been close to 25yrs since I shaped my last “Bonzer”. I’d like to think that my current shapes are “better” than shapes/designs from 25yrs ago or it has all been a giant waste of a life.

If you want to contact me about shaping one feel free to do so. There might be a few  grumpy moments at first on my part but I am basically harmless. Glassing /fins/etc can be a whole other adventure.
