old school paddleboard plans?

I have a friend who’s looking to make an old-style kook box, anybody have plans they’d be willing to share? I don’t have any to give him.

Popular Mechanics use to photocopy old articles for a small fee. The Blake board was in vol.68,#1 from July 1937. Those plans are probably on the net somewhere for free - surfresearch or legendary surfers might have them. The boatbuilding company Clark Craft has a more recent version available on their site.

I tried to procure a copy of the old Popular Mech. article, PopMec could not sell me a copy? not sure why. Maybe, you may have better luck.
