The Open Face Sandwich as built by Jeff Beck. Apparently a way to make a really flexy compsand for an underfed friend. I can’t give you any real details on the construction, but it’s an wild looking board and RT rips on it if that counts for anything.

Looks great.

It would definitely flex well, and should be light.

Nice one.

I really like the outline of that board! very sweetly proportioned.

Looks like it would be hell fun to ride.

They say fishy style boards don’t need any flex, but i’ve found it makes them a different board again when they have a bit of pop

Oh, and i’m so jealous of the sweet West Falia in the background… fond memories of mine (vanagon).

Never let go of that automobile!

Nine Lights

These dude’s blogs are just orsome . Warbles

I am solidly impressed with the Nine Lights stuff…

Thanks Kirk for posting that pic…its like a light went on to say:- “you are not alone!”

Should you remember, please pass props on to Jeff Beck from me…

And, I’m very much enjoying the Zephyr shirts. I intend to do a new run of mine and I’d be stoked if you would wear one.

cool!

Yeah, the nine lights stuff is consistently NICE. I’ve been watching his blog for a while, and he does some really killer work. Hadn’t seen the openfaced sandwich though, that’s a cool concept. Mmmmm, openfaced sandwich… drool

Yeah hey Schwuz, its a reminder to me not to get a big head about my own stuff…yours is too.

I had come “this close” to doing a non-skinned bottom at one point…now i’ll just be an also-ran!

Josh

I’m glad you guys are digging this- I’m in awe of all you guys who can make this stuff, and as the following photos (2 from the middle of a sequence posted on http://thecentralshaft.blogspot.com) show, I’m in awe of RT’s abilities to throw a decent hack! Josh, glad the shirts are getting some love and I’ll definitely pass on the kind words. I say go ahead, make those boards- just post some photos. I’m showing off now, but when I visited Jeff earlier this week I saw some stuff he’s working on and it’s pretty wild. I’ll try to get him to post it. Funny thing is, he seems to be riding an alaia he made more than anything else. Both ends of the scale in full effect.[img_assist|nid=1041012|title=rt1|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=640|height=394][img_assist|nid=1041013|title=rt2|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=640|height=394]

that thing is gorgeous!
