According to Fed-Ex, the delivery is scheduled for today! Is it there yet???
FedEx lied. Now they are saying delivery tomorrow. We’ll see, eh?
It looks like Greg Griffin made it, well, nearly. It has a straighter eh, back line.
send away the tops to cereal boxes
tape a quarter to the one on top
top the effort off with waiting
perhaps pacing at the mailbox
in the rut from the R.R.mailmans truck
what makes a surfboard the cherrished
friend,not just a possession…
well my friends it’s anticipation.
and unlike the secret decoder ring
the anticipation dose-n’t start with
the user, It starts with the dreamer
in this case bill thrill,lusting
for the memory of the ride
of some guys life who?
was just a foggy dream
four months ago.
just pulled the tape
on an ala ia board.
the whole time thinking
the simple act of taking
a friend for a swim
not a photo op,
not a center spread,
just a weightless glide
like handing off a dream.
you can hear the fed ex truck
three blocks away
if you get up at 4 in the morning
there is no ambient noise.
but wait BUT WAIT
fed ex doesnt deliver at 4 in the morning
who cares I’m just gonna sit out here by the mail box…
and wait.after you paddle out you wait Too, … right?
…ambrose…
blessings to you
admirable Bill
FedEx Says:

THE EAGLE HAS LANDED.
bull riders and bronc riders
straddle the beast and wrap
their gloved hand and say
‘‘Outside’’ somewheres else
a surfer strsddling a board
may say it himself or give the
pleasure to another to speak It,
"OUTSIDE’’ mebe they holler
outside! …all the same ,anybody
properly sensetized can feel it.

aint no chair lift
on my momma’s
back porch .
Well…yes, The eagle HAS landed. But it has not yet flown in it’s new sky. Not sure about you, but I am anxious to hear a performance report. Beyond the pleasure of building the surfboard, I’m even more delighted when the new owner has riding experiences previously unknown. The awakening of new possibilities and new paths across the face of a wave. That, to me, is the best part of surfboard building. The most rewarding.
Tis is the most bs thread i ever sean. 4 munths into this tread and we have sean no board jut som other guy fin. sun square tail wiemea board 7ft two 8 or 9 ft being shiped to some dude some place in cansas. suposedly lost from fedx. lots off talking about sum ghoest surfboard. Compare my Avatar, to your Avatar. It is the same when comparing my posts, to your posts. We are as different as deep and shallow water.
All right. Here’s the board Bill made for me. Custom all the way. Bill talked with me at every step of construction. Not ridden yet because the surf is small. Most beautiful board I’ve ever owned and worth every nickel spent. A bargain, really. You’ll have to excuse my iphone photography, but you get a really nice look at cansas in the background. Mike
Cool dog
I like the outline and rocker. Mike, I think you will get lots of positive comments as you make your way down the trail at Mavericks. I think it would be fun also in head high+ waves also!!
Anxious to hear your ride reports Mike!!
Cheers with Aloha,
roger
The photos don’t do it any justice at all. Design questions should be directed towards Bill. If Bill thinks another photo would be helpful I’ll give it a try.
Plenty of swell on the way, eh Matt!?
You’d love this board, Roger, if you saw it and hoisted it under your arm. I know you love beautiful surfboards. This is a beautiful surfboard. Won’t see me at Mavericks. There’s plenty of big stuff that is more in my ‘league’ around here. Mike
Bitchen fin, too, Dave. Thanks for contributing to the project! Mike
yep,you should be
seeded to the finals

section in glide.
Board and fin look great. Even more so in person! That crispy white doesn’t translate well to photos (at least not on my screen).
Now, that’s a surfboard…great job Bill.
Looks like it took a little Resinbutt to get this thing moving, all hail resinbutt. Great looking board Mike, looks like a rocketship.
