Opinions please?

My first project- I took a cheap-Taiwanese longboard and used it for a 6’-10" twin keel fish blank. Going with 23" wide and around 3.25" thick.

This is my first attempt at shaping/glassing so I know that it will be a bit of a hack-job but I am looking for opinions/suggestions on the planshape/rocker/thickness etc…

I am not an expert rider and am mostly looking for a board that I can lock inside my SUV and I can get a ton of waves with and have fun.

The planshape area seems to be (using images/AutoCad) evenly distributed front/rear across the midpoint of the board. The volume is offset a bit rearward. Will this cause problems? Also, the widepoint is well behind center as you can tell in the pics. i guess this could be considered a “pigfish”?

Thanks in advance, criticism is welcome because I want this to be rideable more than anything and I know next to nothing about how shapes affect ride.

It’s difficult to attain a smooth transition when trying to preserve most of an existing shape and glass. Looks like you did a good job. Scuff the glass around the bare foam and mask an overlap zone to keep things clean. Approach it like a big ding repair.

The tail rocker will be flatter than the original. You should be able to ride it by keeping your weight back. It might be a real fast board.
