ROTTNEST did I miss something? You called me out and said I was advertizing? I was offerring my resourses and time to a build. Since you did not like my proposal I thought that you could do it instead. No insult intended. I just figured since you were calling me out you must know better how to build a board?
I was shaping up two boards with the same dimentions just different densities and you felt it was wrong?
Surfding is the red foam actually RED colored foam by the same manufacturer, or something different?

Rottnest - yeah, the foam ez guys put a link in their signature, and they comment from time to time on stuff they have. But the thing is, they are legitimate members of the swaylocks community, not just poseurs. They ask questions, post comments, answer questions, etc. The stuff we all hate is when someone posts a phony comment like "great forum you have here, I'm looking forward to a great time here", then posts a link to online gaming or some such nonsense. Foam ez and greenlight are the real deal - don't run them off, and don't run the pro's like Surfding off either, these are guys who share a great deal of valuable info with us backyard builders, the forum would be less without them.

The Red and White is the Red formula with a coloring agent. Saves me from spraying the board.

I really didn’t care one way or the other about the Coil thread, especially since I learned a thing or two in reading through some of the parts. After all, isn’t that what Sways is about? Seeing the different ways people do thngs? Had it been me i wouldn’t have ever moved it. In my book “advertising” is when a merchant comes on the site for the sole purpose of taking advantage and without ever offering anything of substance to the main groove. It’s not about one of the regulars participating or, upon occasion, offering up some tips or some insights.
Regardless, that thread went 200 pages before a moderator moved it. Surfding’s initial post starting a build thread is a COMPLETELY different situation. There’s literally no comparison. Just because he mentioned a new product being sold by a different and reputable vendor doesn’t make it advertising.
If I want to post a build using RR resin are you going to ask me to move over to the ad section because RR doesn’t grow on trees and you have to buy it from a vendor who posts here? Be reasonable.
If you really want to do something worthwhile instead of beefing, go to the Crab Island Thread and try to help save someone elses’ home break. E-Mail a couple of the council folks and let them know what it is to lose a natural resource. If this kind of action were taken we might have been able to help preserve Kirra.

I also felt the same about the coil thread,
although it did seem funny to me that it’s lasted as long as it has,
considering it was more of a buyer’s guide/ride report on a comercially
available board line…
Most posts were full of cool Coil eye
candy, but little in the way of construction detail, as would be
expected… I didn’t feel it exactly fit the more common DIY board construction
theme here at the general page…Nice boards though…
This thread here is definitely not advertising… And S-ding shouldn’t be put off by others…

Aloha Keith, I just checked and don't see his name as a moderator so why is he stirring things up like he is one and he doesn't know what he is talking about. He's a malahine to Swaylocks and this is the first time I have ever seen him post and maybe the moderators should PM him and try to explain how he rules work.
