***OT*** Any input re. electric pressure washer...

I inhereted an old Coleman electric pressure washer, and I was greatly enjoying its usefulness around the new house when it took a dive.  Turns out it is so old, plus Coleman stopped making them, it is considered “obsolete,” and I could not find parts anywhere.  It was rated “light duty,” which I liked, because it wouldn’t gouge wood if I got the tip too close, but still cleaned up the mildew, moss, etc…

So - Anyone have any suggestions for a replacement?  I’d prefer to stick with electric and low cost.

Thanks -

For the last 3 years I have borrowed a Husky 1900psi electric power washer to clean my house annually. I always figured I wanted a gas powered unit for more power but after using this little electric one, I wouldn’t use anything else for what I need to do. Plently of power for general cleaning and after a long day of scrubbing and climbing ladders, I really appreciate not having to listen to the constant drone a little general purpose gas motor.

The Husky is your run of the mill, Home Depot sourced unit, but it’s served me well. I have no complaints.

Thanks Doyle - A side from the noise, I’d prefer not to smell it too.

One sad confession - we move’d last winter to a house on a gravel road, and having never lived on a gravel road before, and it being the wet Winter-Spring…  While a hose on a high pressure setting didn’t rinse the dust off during the dry of Summer, the little pressure washer was just right to do the job.   And, I’ve been so stoked on the clean, no longer slippery due to green growth, decks that I’d gladly do it again next summer, as it would be an easy job now that the wood is clean.  Anyway - Thanks again.
