Go surfing ,tell us about it
Pulled up to my local spot today at about 10:30am. High tide was a at 10:00. Doesn’t work well on a high tide. Wind blowing the wrong way. I’m About to go home and I see a friend of mine. We suit up and get some shoulder high waves. Choppy but still fun.
I’m stoked. Going longboarding Sunday at San Onofre. I’m not a longboarder but the log is ready to go !

I found a set of trucks like that when I cleaned my room today
“old trucks like” that was all we had in sydney in 1977.
they were loose ball bearing wheels , too, believe it or not !!

I found a set a while back in a tip. on an old 80s toy called a “long rider” . like a plastic scooter.
This is them on the rear of my (now deceased) 6er.

Trucks were removed to be put on my new board and after the deck was used for dripping resin on etc i took to it with a sander and cut out a single fin (waiting for me to glass and foil more.)
The sixer went pretty well actually.
Howzit Rick, It's 10 am sunday morning and I see you are on this site so at least you are still interested in it. Sways goes through times of certain topics. When I first came on this site it was all poly rsin orientated but as the years go by it seems to be leaning more towards the epoxy threads and other subjects. These days I just look at the post choices and look at the ones that interest me. But as you know I'm strictly a poly guy so I find myself looking at less threads, but I still will monitor Swaylocks for something of interest. Aloha,Kokua
