SO? anybody else

I believe that in your neck of the woods Rustoleum Paint is sold under the name Tremco or Tremclad.

Hey dude,

That stuff that Huck put up is really common in all the big home stores - Lowes and Home Depot etc. You probably could find it at Home Hardware or Canadian Tire?

I am reading your post to say that you want to paint the dark little line between the wood and the rail - Have you thought about a pinline there instead of trying to match the white? I have tried to match the foam with a white spray paint before and it turned out really obvious. Maybe you are trying to paint the whole board white and leave the wood?

yes I want to cover this line n some foam also ...but the question should be what is the best paint to prevent delam?

You have to do test pieces. Even if greg Loehr himself tells me something is good to go, I’ll do a test piece.

yep totally agree - I bought some acrylic spray paint that was recommended on here by someone and the epoxy just pooled up and ran off like water. Try it first!

Aloha canadiansurfer, Have you tried going to a real paint store and asking them about what would work? I amnot talking a hardware store but a nothing but paint store and be sure to take some of the material that needs to be sprayed with you so the paint pro can see exactly what you are dealing with. Some of those paint guys really know their stuff and they should have some answers for you. Aloha,Kokua

I’ve used 3M Vinyl Paint with good results on epoxy:

Is there any clear ,compatible with the vinyl paint ....thanks

I used the vinyl paint on the sanded epoxy hotcoat, gave it 24hrs and put an epoxy gloss coat over the top. No issues at all using Kinetix epoxy.

ok ...good tip!  thanks Paulr
