?Paint on sanded,glassedBoard,then4ozGlass on it

Hi & thanx experts-

Have read “Archives/paint”-

Spent 3 days painting,& used"Future Acrylic Floor Polish"in paint,a Zig pen too & then also on dried paint put "Future" - Any other step before top deck is 4 ounce glassed ?

Will it be ok,or first spray it with Krylon UV Resistent Matte Finish?

Did I use the exactly correct or wrong ZIG pen-an "Opaque Writer" which may be chemically different& Wrong, than ZIG Wood Paint Pen. The "Future" makes the dried Zig black ink run/bleed, but not the "Elmer's Tempera Poster Paint"

This is a Coors Light (USA beer) 9'longboard by Estrada Board Design, Costa Mesa Calif. and I drew God from Michelangelo's "Creation of Adam" reaching out to just above the "Light" ( Let there be beer &/or surf )and also got in a wiped out surfer, as if drawn by Picasso in "Guernica", & Snoopy surfing nearby, & aborigine dot art. And tried some chalk, adhered to original sanded glass job with hair spray-it stuck, then dabbed "Future" on that, too

So yeah I'm into it and pretty good but want try to do this right and my LA/Inglewood metro area glassers know less than me & ask you guys

THANKS will email shots later- will photo before glassing in case of disaster- And WILL WAIT for REPLIES

If you’re putting resin over paint on a sanded hotcoat …it has a chance of delam ,unless you give it a surface to bite…even then it might delam in the painted areas.

.By-the-way…some do and some don’t(bond well,that is).Herb

sounds like you got some crazy stuff there…poster paint, floor polish, chalk, hairspray…hairspray?..spraypaint of some sort?..so you gonna glass over all this ?..im no expert , but i see problems heading your way with this combination…dont get me wrong , im shure its cool and all, i just think youll have problems…

yeah…if the board has already been glassed, painted, and sealed up…just do another hotcoat or a gloss and polish to seal it all up nice and tight. no more glass.

Thank all of you for posting-

don’t know computing well & completely missed all postings until 1/2 hour ago-( thought replies were announced in one’s email, then one goes here to “bulletin board” to read)

If Coors of Golden,Colorado buys board with art,great-if not, will strip paint in order to glass properly- it was created with only1 layer of 6oz. glass on top deck, which is perhaps not strong enuff to last much.
