Well I decided to use a posca pen on my board and didnt let it dry long enough before glassing it, that was dumb, the paint ran and screwed up an otherwise cool board. So I ended up just paint the whole thing blue, still doesnt look as good, but better. Well lesson learned and Ill definatly will wait longer next time.
wait 'til it’s totally dry, and then spray over it with a clear acryllic sealer. then, let that dry…and THEN glass it.
so thats it sealer, should have read more and got the airbrushing video first
Or, you could sand the whole thing down again, do it over. Mike
Howzit greenboards, Make sure the paint is totally dry like soulstice says so you don’t seal any moisture in the paint which will cause a crystallazation problem when you lam the board. The only time I ever seal the paint is on over sprayed fades.I see you are on Oahu so you have access to fiberglass Hi and they now carry Nova paint which needs no sealer,it has a finish that seals its self.Aloha,Kokua
thanks, I’ll check that out next time I make a board, I think I did see that there but didnt think of it then, nor did I know I had to use it.
