Flat side is carbon fibre, on alluminium/polypropelene/aluminium and wood foiled and glassed. They were really shiney before I glassed them but the glass dulled the ally, still look sweet though.

You live too far from the beach Jase - I had a three hour session at a local reef last night - offshore, bout 3 ft with bigger sets…How did you manage to end up so far inland?

Hey SB, you’re not kidding…We’re hoping to relocate to North Devon next year-ish when my son leaves school. It’s even worse today, I’ve just checked eyeball and seen the live pics from Puts, its getting painful. I can’t even get down before the end of July either, when it’ll be flat as a witch’s tit and packed at every break.
Surfer Dave, I’ll keep you posted, but the ally is just 2 x 1mm sheets laminated between carbon and plastic and wood so the ally surface that’s actually bonded to glass is’nt a huge amount anyway so should be OK.
I’m now off to cry.
