usually I use silkypan o rice paper for decal but one customer yesterday ask me if is possible insert a piece of normal paper (printer paper) under the laminate… that piece of paper is about 2in x 1in…
I never glass a piece of paper…it can make problem like delaminate or something?
thats a bad idea, and will cause lots of problems, if your customer wants the logo on a white back ground, tell him to use proper decal paper and paint the back white, and put a little lam resin down first.
There are plenty of ways to transfer the design to a decal.

depends on what type of paper you use but it a real can of worms. Creases, rinckles, ink bleeding and lifting off, the glass not bonding with the foam, basically a mess.
some tracing papers can be use with limited results, there was a prev post with some brands that people used a while back. If in any doubt do some tests.
Howzit fishexp, Not into tracing paper weight but it will work on clear boards, but if you already have a rice paper supplier I would stick with the rice paper. Aloha,Kokua
