Hey everyone,
Picked up this Patagonia longboard and I’m curious to learn more about it. From what I’ve found, Patagonia was making boards early on through what became FCD Surfboards, but I haven’t found much about the Patagonia-Ultrasurf branded boards from this era.
Does anyone know more about these boards or have experience with them? Interested in the history, construction methods, and general background.

EPS/Epoxy. Ventura,California. Short and Longboards. Patagonia clothing and gear. A separate enterprise headed by the son of Patagonia’s owner. I think his name is Fletcher Chounard(sp).
Ran across an add in Surfers Journal for Patagonia last night. The FCP I assume would be Fletcher Chouinard Patagonia. Wiki says Patagonia was founded 1973 by Ivon Chouinard in Ventura . Their building is pretty recognizable in Ventura. If I remember right they repurposed an older building. North end of town.
