also how thick is the wood you start with and how thick does it usually > end up for more of a “standard” fin. thanks …I’ll either use 1/4" or 1/2" baltic birch plywood…The center of the fin is 1/8" clear lexan…I sandwich them together with polyurethane glue… The finished fins can be as thick as 1.125"…But they taper sharply to the tip and trailing edges… Paul http://http://www.swaylocks.com/resources/Detailed/397.html
