Hey, all. First time posting here. I was wondering if anyone could tell me a little bit more about the Morey-Pope Peck Penetrator. What design features made it stand out? Anyone have one of the boards that John Peck is shaping today? Impressions? I’ve been in love with this board for years now, I’m finally thinking about taking the plunge, and I’d just like to get a better sense of the history behind it all. Thanks, Nilus
Heard that he shapes out of Cordell’s shop in Costa Mesa. Don’t know about the board though.
it was the flat, down-railed nose that was the main difference…
phone morey… or just “y” or starwaves, com …he got a gig in dana point at cafe renisance sundays 5;30-8;30…ambrose …he might still have #1 peck penetrator

Nilus I have a old one , Its not just the down nose it also has a hull tail that is thin in the back, but those two things together make it work in small to med. hollow point waves.Ive seen Johns new boards and he does a really nice job on those.
there was one at the Beach House, in the used room, a while back. I’ve seen John at some of the club events on his. style / speed master!
