PICTORAL HISTORY OF REMOVABLE SURFBOARD SKEGS AND FINS

i wanted to start a forum that could be a definitive collection of surfboard skegs and fins that could be used as an historical  reference.  In my case, I recently lost to the ocean a side bite fin that matched the male insert part of this snap in fin pictured.  When I know the name, then I will be able to catalogue it in this forum and hopefully replace it into my KAHANAMOKU SONS surfboard.  Here is a picture of it, so if you know the manufacturor's name that would be a help in my search.  If you have any pictures of any fin systems, please post a picture to add to this thread!   Of course, if you have the fin I need, please leave contact info so I can buy it for my "Magic Board".

Thanks, Greg

What kind of snap-in surfboard fin is this?  Trying to post a picture here...[img_assist|nid=1052612|title=fin 1|desc=Snap-in fin system with PVC fins, I think? Unknown manufacturer|link=none|align=left|width=0|height=0]

Looks like Speed Fins (Australia). Not sure if they are still in business but the fins still seem to be available in the US:

Go to this website and find a contact email for them:

I had fins in some boards before I heard of FCS, called AFS ( adjustable Fin Systems ), very similar to fcs, bit different plugs though....sorry but no pics of them.....
