Pin hole took in water

I took a newly selfmade board out the other day and noticed that a pin hole was taking in water on the bottom of the board. I tried to repair but water keeps seeping through. I was thinking of drilling hole bigger to let the watr drip out till its dry then patching it. Anyone know any solutions that havfe worked for them?

BTW I am new to board building and this website

What kind of foam?  Mike

I think that is a fine solution.  Let the board dry very well and when patching, add some glass.  Good luck.

If it’s a pinhole only, dry it and superglue it…

Can you post some pictures of the board?

Because if it’s eps then it probably soaked up a bunch of water and it might never dry out if you re drying it through a pinhole. Mike
