pin lines

i’m going to do some pin line on a board would it be cold to use sanding resin instead of gloss resin

I do mine with sanding resin but gloss resin will work, too. Anyway, you’re gonna have to sand them lightly before glossing over them, so as long as the resin can be sanded (i.e. NO laminating resin), it’s OK.

this board has a gloss coat i just don’t have gloss resin but i have sanding resin would i hve to sand it

Not sure if pinlines will stick to a gloss coat… If I were you, I’d sand very lightly where they are supposed to be, or at least, wipe with some acetone. Then you may use sanding resin. If it’s well done, you might not have to sand them. Maybe you’d better ask some of the best glassers here.

Howzit balsa, Seems to me that once you remove the polish the pin lines should adhere.Aloha,Kokua
