I am always repairing heaps of Al Merricks , they are both popular and lightishly glassed and have been seeing quite a few with a real pink/mauve colouring. These are clear matt finished boards, free lapped so not tinted. I know reichhold resins are pinkish and silmar blue grey. Can anyone in the know explain what these are about. Bugger of a job trying to matck a colour to blend in the repair. Some have a Rhino glassing logo and others Onboard Mona Vale.
called optic brightner par for the course in this age of deception
I hear that some blanks are being tinted blue / purple as they are blown. It is ment to help the foam stay whiter longer.
