Hello all, Just a quick one today. Pinlines. Should you draw them on before or after the hotcoat? A friend and I have been having a few heated discussions about this. He did them on top of the laminating coat, however there seemed to be a bit of colour leak, so I thought it may be better to do them inbetween the hotcoat and the glosscoat. Any thoughts? Cheers.
Ontop of the hotcoat. If you tried to pinline on top of the lam you would not get a clean edge on the pin due to the weave.
Hey Harry’s correct, but didn’t mention you have to sand the hotcoat, then make sure you sand along our pinlines with 320 paper to insure a clean edge when you peel off the tape.
