i have to put pinlines on my next few boards. i was wondering if yall mix cabosil in the resin to make it so it doesnt run everywhere. also do you hand sand the hotcoat to 220 or what grit? any other helful hints would be appreciated.
Yep sand to 220.Use the following items if you can…Reichold Gloss Resin,rail tool for making a guide line,3M 233 tape,good pigment,tongue blade to press tape down,round flitch natural bristle artist brush.I dont add anything to the resin.In my opinion Reichold is the best…Silmar takes to long to kick…I make my pins hot.and thick for a good wax rise.Check the archives.
