First, Jeff, and Keith,I held back on your orders because of the newer production grips, they are ,simply put, BETTER!The reason they are better is because they’re designed for the planer, rather than adapting a firearm grip to a planer. The new production grips are solid, with only a couple ounces in wt. gain, and made from molds specifically for this application.I will drop them in the mail today or early tommorrow, and they should get to you by this weekend or sooner.Thank you for your patience. …I have 10 avaliable right now,and production can go up to 50 a day, according to my molder Dave.I will post an add as soon as I get a bit of time to work it out.Mean while if you’re interested in what the hell I talking about, check out the photos on the board page under,“tools”.See ya ,Herb
Herb, I have a modified Hit., witht the cball knob and lit extention lever with the little ball knob. How would the pistol grip go on my existing know. I don’t wnat to have to snap ringss out etc. What advantage does the pistol grip have? I’ve always hateds that you can’t sent the mod. Hit. on a fixed depth. The control moves to easily. Let me know. I am interested in the pistol grip. How much?
Thanks for the update Herb – I was shaping this weekend and am looking forward to getting a better handle on it, ha ha.
sounds good to me.
