Hey,
Wondering if anyone has had any luck modifying the extractor port/dust chute on to the left side on a Hitachi P20SF.
I’m left handed, currently not shaping with a vacuum, this is my back up Planer and playing with mods and would like to switch it so less dust in the face.
The opposite side of port is the metal belt housing so a no-go. Wondering whether when I move the handle back, I can then exhaust out of the top with a left pointing hood.
Has anyone had luck with this approach, and does it have the power to throw the dust out the top?
