might be common knowledge, but yesterday when foiling some ply fins, i realized that
by laying them down like in the picture, it was way easier for me to see where i needed to go back in and
‘fine tune’ them. when they lay mirrored like this it is easier to see and it takes out alot of the guesswork of making them alike.
atleast for me it does. hopefully it will help someone else who struggles a bit with foiling the plywood. cheers. they are still not perfect,
but better than the last ones.

What do you think the output of finfoil means?

You could just leave the pair in one piece until you’re finished foiling and then separate them.
this is how i like to do it but i leave the fins connected like a whale tail and foil both at same time, then cut them out.
going to check it out Hans. but im afraid my computer skills are limited when it comes to real tech stuff.
im more hands on, try stuff out, fail, learn, start again and so on
thanks, ill sit down right away and have a look
ps, what did you mean by output?
i had that thought when i looked at the pic right after i took it.
might work, cheers
