Heya - I live in the PNW and want a few Marko foam blanks - specifically the 7’6" JJ FS. I called Fiberglass Supply in WA and they don’t have 'em and won’t get 'em. Does anyone in my neck of the woods (PDX) distribute them or have any to sell. The nearest dealer is in San Francisco… or I gotta choke down 150.00 shipping costs!

If you are looking for a reasonable eps blank, there is a guy in Seattle that has them for a decent price. He has them hotwired how you want them, no stringer. I got one a little whole ago from him and its worked out well, no shipping since I am near Seattle. The shipping kills you so this may be worth checking out for you. The USblanks molded eps blanks are nice.
I have used USblanks before - and they are nice ace, but I was really stoked that this one from Marko was already 90% shaped, saving me some time! I looked through the USBlanks catalog and they don’t have an equivalent… 
Have you talked to any of the other shapers that use EPS in your area? The few I know make there own. This might be a plece to start.
Have you shaped a Marko before? The reason I ask is that several shapers I know here would rather be shaping somthing else. They don't care one way or another about the "molded" aspect. They primarily use them because Marko was the first EPS blank in the PNW that was available with the least amount of shipping cost and wait time. If you are considering getting something out of Calif. American Blanks can cut any rocker and even mill it for you. According to my sources they also have the most reasonable shipping costs from Calif. Fiberglass Hawaii in Ventura also ships to the Northwest. They have got their shipping costs down as well. I've heard they will bundle/box blanks and put them on Amtrak for you. Which means you could pick them up in PDX. Otherwise you might consider buying a US Blank EPS blank from Fiberglass Supply and have it shipped down to Mike Ewaliko at Precision Shapes in Seattle and let him mill it for you there. You could work up a file on AKU-Shaper and send it to him I guess. If not you could send him measurements and a profile. If you have a file he could take it down to the point that all you need to do is hand sand and screen. Come to think of it he may have EPS blanks there. I have other info that may help. PM me.
You could check w/Lanny Schuller - I think he still makes and sells blanks.
You could get all “Swaylocker” and make your own.
Oh you guys are awesome, thanks for the help. However, you greatly overestimate my abilities. I am just a kook in a garage… I don’t think I could ever make my own blank! Thanks again for all the info.
