poly foam stain under epoxy lam?

Talking with another board builder today about doing a polyester resin foam stain on a polyurethane blank, then lamming with epoxy over top. Anybody had any long-term issues with this method, ie: delam? The idea is to get a little color on the foam… maybe a little swirl or something… quickly, and be able to laminate within a half hour or less.

Anybody done this before? How does it hold up?

done it - works fine - no adverse effects other than the normal ones of epoxy over polyurethane (shrinking foam in the sun)
i would let it cure a day before putting the epoxy lam on though…never tried it back to back - try it on a test of scrap foam and see…
