How can I quicly tell if resin and catalyst are ok? They’re 8 months old half cans and for a month they’re been stored outdoors in near freezing temperatures.

cold should decrease volatilization of styrene from your resin
I don’t know any real quick ways myself, but if its been sitting around, I’d pour the resin through a pair of nylon stockings to get rid of any lumps and do a test batch before using it on a board. also if its gone a bit thick i sometimes try adding 1% styrine morma (not S.A) to thin it out a bit, if it’s too far gone your might be better off getting fresh resin.
