Hello SC,
I like your idea of a carbon trisect but but now that you can gain some weight using carbon, why not “trisecting” also 9’ and even 8’ boards. I’m asking you this because a 9’ or 8’ bisect still don’t meet the airlines max size limitations for luggage. Unless rules are different in the US, over here in France if luggage length + height + width exceed 158cm, then you’re supposed to pay extra fees. And for this reason, I’m building my own 3 parts travel board.
