post cure for resin research 3100

Hi,

am planning to use rr 3100 (composite pro) for my next board and am a little unclear on the psot-curing.

is there a time window of opportunity within which the post cure muct be accomplished or can the post curing be done at any time after the inital cure?

how much will the post cure improve the finished product?

Thanks, Trent

There is some post cure info on the website on the cure schedules page … www.resinresearch.net

Hi Greg,

I have read all the info on your website as well as searched here on swaylocks but I still do not know the answer to my questions:

Does the post cure need to be accomplished immediately after the initial cure or can it be done at a later time? Can it be performed at a much later time?

How does the post cure affect the properties of the cured resin? - on the techinical specifaction page it states : "Testing was done on room temperature specimans cured for two weeks."

I should clarify I am using the 2050 resin with the 3100f hardener.

Thanks for your help,

trent
