G’day Ben,
Hopefully I can snatch some waves from the jaws of Summer. Not looking promising for a while though…
I don’t know too many crew by name, but I have met a few guys that know you. Your name always comes up when guys stop to check out some of my boards.
Saw a set of your fins on a black twin fin pin at Collin’s joint the other day actually. Really cool little board , I’ll have to hit him up for a surf on it!
Cheers mate!
Holy Bonzer Batman! It’s like a french-fry cutter!!
Posted this in the Channels thread as well, but here’s my current project - Just rough-finished the bottom of that 4’6" rounded fangtail wakesurfer I posted earlier… Large single concave to deep, tail-wide single channel

trying very hard not to collide with this one!
Rough finished the deck and rails - just gotta clean up the high spots and then I can fill it!

I stripped a broken longboard for the blank, chambered stringer out of basswood and redwood. Gonna glass-on a single. still a work in progress. I will post as I get in dialed in.
Love it - Beautiful stringer work!
Three new ones, two for myself: 5’10" epoxy, a Pu parallel outline 5’3" and a resin tinted custom 6’6" x 21" x 2 1/2"

Vac-bagged XPS-SUP with cork deck for my wife:
learned again a lot of things. e.g. working with a wetout table: http://www.swaylocks.com/forums/xps-and-wetout-table-problems-help-needed
Hi,
Beautifull work guys, I wish I could make equivalent boards one day !
@ Nocean: What material your black patches are made from ?
Continue the art work !
Hat tip to Nocean for his inspiring inlays
6-10 2+1, epoxy + S-glass over PU with hemp inlay, aircraft-ply fins with hemp backing. Going to Bryan in OBSF.

I’m digging the multi-colored shaping room walls.
Oh yeah, nice stringer too.
Installing a chicken numerical control cutter in my shop. Going for an egg shape for the first time.
Once you come up with the scratch for a second board, you should go for something with a beak nose, and a wide tail.
It’s early here. And no coffee. But you guys are hilarious.
Got nothing in retrun Huck. You win!!!
Halfway through a Christmas present. I only have the veneer on one side. Finbox reinforcement inspired by JD. Thanks
Zourite, yeah as gdaddy says its a hemp/linen or flax cloth depending on where you are , adds a bit of strength to the laminate so its a bonus…
gdaddy, looks really nice , good pinline finish and nice fins!
patched 5’9" ready for glassing:
