Just finished some boards and have noticed some ever so slight seperation along the stringer deck side only. Some sections average about 3" long, but again very tiny holes all in a line. I tried taking pictures, but it’s almost undetectable on the pics. Am I overthinking this or should I be concerned and try to possibly skim coat it before laminating. This is a first quality blank that has been really easy to work with until this little glitch. Any help would be great as I plan on color spraying it this weekend before its off to glassing next week.
I assume we’re talking Polyurethane ,correct ?
Just lam the board and pour an extra line down the stringer to fill the ecluesions.
Or just pre-lam the stringer line or whole side for that matter.
A quicky fix is superglue in the cracks…might yellow though if the blank is not painted.
Painting and sealing will usually solve this problem,if not, refer to one of the metheads above…oops I meant method !

Herb- Thanks for the info. You put my mind at ease for sure. Still doing the super chargers?
OH MAN !
Superchargers…trying to forget them, but ya…still molding a few from time to time…I just get this on slaught of requests for them and I would love to give thousands away but the little buggers take soooo much of my time up that I can’t do anything else.
I still use them on every one of my personal boards…with side fins that is…even quads…depending on the quad of course.

Cool- Glad to hear your still doing them! I think I’ll go the pre-lam route instead of super glue. I appreciate your quick response.
