Problem ding repair WHITE SHADOW

Hello!!!

I repair few dings in a nice yellow board, but after fix it… looks like a light white where was the ding. ;(

I was just wondering if anyone can tell me why is that?

Moisture or wax residue… take your pick.

100% sure was no wax residue.

I didnt know the Moisture can do that?? I fix it in front of the beach, in a humid place ;(

How the moisture can affect??

Moisture/Humidity. 'Was it cool and overcast? Ask someone from the Central Coast of Calif if they have ever had this problem.
