Finding it hard to keep up with who’s who and who isn’t these days on NAFTA PU blank manufacutrers. Does anybody have a “short list” on who for real is going into production and where they are located/contact info? I heard rumors of 2-3 companies planing on scaling up in Baja - King Mac, ect… anybody know about them or any of the “other” that announced plans for Baja?

but all the design in the world won’t do you any good without a blank to exercise it on.

Fiberglass Hawaii told me several weeks ago that they have three shipments incoming from three different suppliers. They also said it wouldn’t be a madhouse when the blanks got it. I guess the prices will be high enough to drive out some, the qualilty will be unknown and that will dissuade others, the lack of publicity will mean that not everyone will have a chance, they don’t have containerloads because they have to “spread the blanks around”…
Still, another poster that I saw at the beach last weekend said that as far as he was concerned, blank supply is a non-issue.
but… it’s not like it was, that’s for sure. You gotta network, let your fingers do the walking, and so one.
Any why wouldn’t having a blank to put your design on be important?

sorry for the negative reaction gents, however my point which I should have made far more clear is that this belongs in the ‘industry talk’ section. lets try to keep all the design stuff together in one database.
