pvc stringer material

ive read that celtec/komatex is the stuff to use for stringer material and eps boards. others say use closed cell pvc foam. who’s right and who’s wrong?? can both be used and which one is better. im a little confused, any info. would be great, thanks

Try to forget PVC stringer in general and go to basics, WOOD. Bass will give the EPS a true feel and snap.

I think you are probably not getting so many replies because this topic has been done at least a dozen times here in the past.

Try typing “pvc stringer” in the little search box on the upper right of the page, spend 20 minutes reading, and you’ll find TONS of info.
